I love protest the hero! Fortress is just an amazing album! You should cover sequoia throne, that has to be the best song on the album :P. This is all good, except the mixing and fl drums suck. Work on your mixing and look into some drum machines like superior drummer 2 or what I use, which is EzDrummer Drum Kit From Hell.

KitsuMech responds:

Yeah totally look into the Bone Marrow cover that I have done, drums stomp ass in that one. I'm rather proud of it.

This one totally needs to be reworked, which when I stop being lazy, will get right on that :D :D :D. thanks for the love and glad to find another PTH fan. :)

FUUUUCCCKKK That's heavy! :P This is music made for the metal gods! Wahnsinn did some fuckin brutal vocals! They remind me of Trevor Phipps from Unearth. And Lol the lyrics are fucked up! But yeah freaking amazing!

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks!

Pretty awesome. I can tell you've worked hard on it, it's definately payed off, Definately your best ;). I only have a couple of complaints. The Rythm Guitars seem a bit quiet to me, i would turn the volume of them up a bit. And the drums could be improve a lot, they sound good, just could be alot a better in my opinion. But This is awesome, I love the intro, keep makin shit like this! \m/

Schleif responds:

thanks man, will do \m/

Good. Good tone, sounds really good, but i think the intro is too long, and the riffs do get very repetivive and do drone on and on as they're all the same note.

TheEscapeArtist responds:

thanks for the response, and the outside view. im gunna work this one better and put it up

Hmm. This is very intersting. The riffs are good, guitars have a good tone. But The drums are really annoying. This would have been much better if you just made it with proper drums.

NightWake responds:

Thanks mate

I like using 'out there' kits
Gives it an edge you don't hear in 'normal' metal

I'm loving those solos man! Awesome!

The one thing that could be better is the mixing. What you should try and do is record the rhythm guitar twice. Have one panned hard right, and the other panned hard left. Then have your lead guitar centred, then maybe for another part of the solo or the solo maybe panna that slightly left or right or whatever. But what I do is have 2 rythem guitar playing the same thing throughout, and have the lead centred playing the same as the rhythm when there are no lead parts to play. I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but that's the way i do it and it seems to work for me.

Drums are my instument of choice, so i'll be able to comment for on them. The drums play pretty much the same thing throughout, gets kinda repetitive. Most times, not all, but most times the best thing to do is have the drums follow the guitars.

Anyways nice song! Pretty awesome :)

Thx a lot man, I appreciate the support! And thx for the advice!!
I'll try that next time!! ^^

Yeah you're right about the drums, I actually made them in a hurry! But I'll try to make them less repetitive next time!! =D

YAY!! Hanger 18!! Lol, i was hoping you'd do rust in peace...Polaris or my last words :P, but still an awesome song :D.

Anyways, I didn't really like the intro, I would have preferred if you stuck to the original there, but that's my opinion :). The orchestra was a really nice touch. Guitars were good. But the only thing which can be improved is the mixing. The drums are too quiet, and the guitars are overpowered by the orchestra. And i can only just about hear the rhythm guitar in the background. But other than that, it's awesome. :)

Schleif responds:

haha, thanks man. yeah i didn't really spend much time on the mixing in this one. cause i'm a lazy fuck, haha. it was fun though. thought about doing rust in peace...polaris, might give it a try some day. thanks for checking \m/

Pretty awesome. Guitars sound ok, still sounds pretty fake though. But the riffs are good, they're pretty brutal :D. As for the drums, i mean what the hell, a bit over the top lol. They're a bit crazy :P and they kinda over power the guitars. But other than that, it sounds good! \m/ ;)

Aslan-Emanuel responds:

Yay! Netty! And, yes. The guitars don't sound real, and aren't meant too (it's kind of a half excuse for me not tightening up the mixing job). If it sounds bad ass, then the goal of the song has succeded.
But, I'm glad you think it's brutal!
Thanks, man!

Pretty nice. Guitar work is good, and the guitars sound great. Drums sood good also. The only thing I can see wrong is the orchestra is too loud imo. But other than that pretty awesome :D

Deathcalypse responds:

Bah! Thanks dude
