Not great.
2 big problems i see here.
1) FL Slayer is a crappy guitar, but yeah you did say that.
2) It needs a rythem guitar and bass behind it. It's just so empty

Awesome...

It's awesome. Guitars are amazing, but the drums let you down dude. Very poor drums. The drums are good in parts, but mostly bad. You need to find somone else who know what they're doing. Maybe, in a couple of weeks, when I get my new drum kit, i may be able to record some real drums for you if you want if I can find a way of recording them with good quality.

Slayer's bad

Slayer Is very bad. It's so genetic probally the best single vst synth guitar out there though. If this had a good quality guitar this would be great. If you want to hear what a good synth guitar can sound like with numerous VST's put through the mixer and shit then take a look at my later songs. With some hard work you can get there.

I've never heard the original, i probably will get round to it. Well anyway, I'm lovin those drums especially those fills at the beginning, i don't know if you wrote them but yh still awesome the same for the guitars and some of the guitar fills just kick you in the balls and laugh at you they're so good, again I don't know if you wrote them or not but probably not seeing as this is a cover but still amazing dude.

I must ask you, how the FUCK did you master this so well?! Amazin sound you got there!

yeah, the overlap thing... the first time i remember really noticing this effect being used to explode my brain was on Fear Factory's album Obsolete. It seriously felt like my ears and brain were being torn in half. Basically, you sing the same thing twice, and pan one hard left, one hard right. In this case, I had triple-up... with a third vocal in the centre. Used sparingly, it can really add a killer focal point to the song.

Some bad ass Drumming going on there. I want to be that good, Dam my shitty as Double Bassing. Oh well, i'm ok with single bassing atm.

As you sed, the recording isn't great, but the quality of the music is awesome. The cymbals do over power the guitar a bit, but thats because of the mic. Also The riffs just blow me away, your guitar skills are fuckin imense.

This could be a classic with some metalcore(y) styled vocals, some bass and obviously better recording quality.

Ahhh...

Ahhh, The old FL Slayer. To be honest, it is a horribly sounding guitar, just so synthetic.

I used to use slayer alot, really, you need to work on getting some better VST's. 'LPC Prominy' and 'Ministry Of Rock' are both extremely good samplers, yet both extremely expensive. I couldn't afford these seeing as i'm only year 10 starting my GCSE's, so what I did is get slayer 2, and through extensive experimenting with various compressors and amps among other things I got a great synthetic guitar that sounds good, and it's worked like a dream for me.

As for the Fl Studio Drums, FPC, they are poor. You aren't going to find a good free drum program anywhere. So i'll list a few costly ones: 'EZDrummer,' 'Addictive Drums,' 'Ministry of Rock' and 'Superior Drummer 2.0.' These will probally be the best you'll find. I use EDrummer - Drum Kit From Hell.

I can still see that your a beginner so I know i shouldn't push you too much but seriously, if you want to be good composer on newgrounds without real instruments, you need to move away from the Fl Studio Instruments. I can remember a time when I was at your stage.

This review is getting a bit too long but i'll hope you'll take some of my advice. I'll be checking out some of your older submissions and checking back on you to see how your getting on. Check out some of my latest songs for what sort of synthetic guitars you can get for free
